I've been asking this myself a lot lately. When you put your palms together, look at one "back of the hand", then rotate it in space to see the other "back of the hand", and the action seems to resemble the seemless change that is so elusive in a lot of experiences, but those natural changes sometimes come across even more fluid-like, like water to steam. As if there never is an actual, visible point of change at all.
